Q: How do I set up my AutoCad drawing files to plot files? |
A: Correctly configured plot files will save time and money while greatly improving quality. Use the Windows printer driver for Oce TDS600 and print to file. Set pens to monochrome unless you want some potentially light lines. |
Q: What types of media can I get large color prints on? |
A: We print on canvas, watercolor paper, vinyl, 20# bond, 46# bond, photo satin and photo gloss. |
Q: How wide can you print and scan? |
A: We can print up to 60" wide on most media. We can mount and laminate up to 58" wide. We can scan up to 52" wide and up to 1/2" thick. |
Q: What graphic file formats can you print? |
A: We print tif, jpg, bmp, eps, ai, pdf, psd, as well as many other file formats. Files from native applications (Illustrator, InDesign, Word, etc.) may require that all fonts, profiles, linked images, etc are included with the document. PLEASE keep your files in RGB instead of CMYK. RGB has a larger color space than CMYK. Since we have 6-color instead of 4-color process, we have a wider range of color available and will make a better match if the file is in RGB. |
Q: What reprographic and CAD file formats can you print? |
A: We can print tif, cals, plt, dwg, dwf, and mcd files. Files from native applications such as AutoCad dwg and VectorWorks mcd usually require more attention to output size, scale and missing fonts and xrefs. |
Q: What other types of formats can you print? |
A: We print xls, doc, mpp, ppt, pub and many other file formats. Some files from native applications such as Power Point, Project and Publisher may require more attention from staff and from sender of file. |
Q: I sent the additional images but they still didn't show up in the print. |
A: These errors usually occur because the linked images are located in a different directory from the original file. These files are often located on a drive in your office that we do not have. For example, your file may be referencing Drive X in subdirectory xrefs. |
